Welcome to the Witmus Generations from Ruegen to America -- in German and English! Finally, we have a permanent home for our Witmus data. Most of this site can be changed to German by clicking on the drop-down box and choosing German. It should log in that way for you each time. If you do not have an account, please click Register for a User Account at the bottom of the sidebar to the left. You can create your own login name and password. After your account has been activiated, you will be able to login.
This is strictly a research site. The My Family Witmus site is the social-networking site where we can still post queries, etc. Also, it is best to post new information there, as well, as photos, etc since everyone will be notified. I will then post them to this site. Our Tribal Pages site is a simpler version of this site, for those who don't need the German version and want to help elderly relatives find their Ruegen relatives.
This site also has a RSS feed option (see the address bar) where you can be notified of any changes made to this site.
