At this Court before the steward and in presence of the Homage Richard Cane of Headley yeoman surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor a dwelling house, barn, stables, garden and 8 inclosed pieces of land containing altogether 22 acres with the appurtenances situate in the Tything of Heathley under the yearly rent of iijs being the premisses to which the said Richard Cane was admitted at the Turn of St Martin 1812 on the surrender of Mary Missingham to the use and behoof of the Reverend Samuel Locke of Farnham, Surrey, Doctor in Divinity and his heirs according to the custom of the Manor, saving the right of Caleb Withal in the premisses by virtue of a mortgage...
