Age on marriage records states 26 born then 1839. He was a batchelor and she was a spinster. Could have been baptised Norton Subcourse 7th Dec 1857. Mary: Marriage records state she was from Thurlton. Father William Gardener.

Samuel WARNES b. abt 1802, Thurlton, Norfolk, occupation Ag.labourer,Yarmouth c/c?, m. 18-Nov-1831, in Thurlton, Norfolk, Maria BRABINGS , b.1795, Thurlton, Norfolk, (daughter of Henry BRABINGS and Susan CONSTANCE ). 1841 census he was at Thurlton. 1851 census he was at West Street, Thurlton, aged 49. They had James Harvey a son who was married aged 29 and a sailor. His wife Ann age 24 a dressmaker. 1861 census he was at Mill Lane, Thurlton. IGI records for christening and marriage dates, also gives parents names. Some real confusion over Maria Harvey who married Sam Warnes 18/11/1831 in Thurlton and Maria Brabben mother of Caroline 1837 in Thurlton. Maria: Maiden name from IGI microfiche, son by first marriage found in 1851 census Sometimes Brabben. Was Maria also Maria Harvey as Maria Brabben was a widow when she married Samuel. He was a batchelor.

Sarah REEVE , b. abt 1821, Thurlton, Norfolk, (daughter of Isaac REEVE and Elizabeth ). 1851 census living at 49 The Street, Thurlton and a pauper, agricultural labourer aged 27. Sarah: 1841 census living in Staithe House, Norton Subcourse age 20. 1851 census living at 49, The Street, Thurlton age 26.  She died 04-May-1867 aged 40, just five days after the birth, she died from Pleuritic Pneumonia.  He married (2) Mahalah Jermy between Oct and Dec 1871.  She was born in 1838 in Haddiscoe, Norfolk. With her came her son Jonathan JERMY b.1866

Robert died abt 1890 at sea. Frederick George's birth certificate states Robert was a farm labourer. Grace Warnes says he died at sea. He is mentioned in the 1861 census living at Loddon Road, Thurlton, Norfolk age 10. 1851 census living at 49, The Street, Thurlton aged 1. Sarah: 1891 Census age 35 lived 48 Pye's Mill Road, Loddon By-Town widow, probably since 1890 as youngest child aged 1 in census 1891. Frederick George Warne's birth certificate states she lived at Heckingham. It also has her mark as a cross and therefore she was illiterate. 1901 census living 30 the pits Chedgrave a widow aged 47 born Heckingham.

Harry WARNES b.29th April 1867, the birth was registered on the 2nd May 1867 in the Loddon registration district married Matilda Jane GRIMSON on the 19th September 1899, by which time Harry is often referred to as Henry. She died during the last quarter of 1901.He then married Alice EASTER and the marriage certificate gives the following information.At the parish church of Norton Subcourse on April 21st 1902 Harry Willie WARNES, widower aged 34, labourer and resident of Norton Subcourse, the son of Robert WARNES labourer.Alice EASTER, spinster of Norton Subcourse aged 26 daughter of James EASTER, market gardener.On November 9th 1913 Harry/Willie and Alice were admitted to the Heckingham workhouse with some of the children.  Alice was pregnant and on April 10th 1914 she gave birth to my father Frank WARNES.  Harry/Willie died aged 51, after lunch on 29th April 1918,(his birthday).
