• AncestryHost.org makes no warranty or guarantee of service of any kind. There is no promise of reliability, availability, speed, or continuation of service. We reserve the right to terminate your hosting for any reason at any time and without notice.
  
  
• Website material must be suitable for people of all ages and must be genealogy related. Your site must contain actual textual content of a genealogical nature; it cannot be simply a repository for photographs or downloadable files.
  
  
• You may not store, disclose, or post personal information (e.g. date of birth) about living persons on any site hosted by AncestryHost.org without their written permission and notice of that permission must be stated. Unauthorized storage, disclosure, or posting of personal information without permission will result in immediate closure of your account.
  AncestryHost.org is not responsible or liable for personal information that is stored, disclosed, or posted on our servers.
  
  
• A "link back" to AncestryHost.org (e.g. This site is hosted by AncestryHost) is REQUIRED on every page.
  
  
• New accounts that remain unused for more than 30 days will automatically be closed. In other words, if your webaddress continues to bring up the default template after 30 days your account will be closed to provide disk space to other applicants.
  
  
• We only host free-access non-commercial genealogy websites.
  
  
• You may not put affiliate marketing links (those commercial links that pay you for the folks that click on them) or sell or advertise products on any pages hosted on our servers.
  
  
• You may not place pop-up or pop-under ads, or ads of any kind (including affiliate links), on pages hosted by AncestryHost.org. At the same time, we promise to never put popup or pop-under ads on your content.
  
  
• AncestryHost.org accounts may not be used only as a redirect to other sites.
  
  
• You may not upload copyrighted material, except with permission and notice of that permission should accompany the information/file.
  
  
• You must notify AncestryHost.org of any changes in account ownership, email address, or project affiliation within 10 days of change.
  
  
• AncestryHost.org accounts may only be used for publicly accessible material but not for online backup.
  
  
• AncestryHost.org accounts may not be used for file storage - whether it is MP3 files, zip files, video files, huge images files, etc. Accounts that are being used in this manner will be permanently closed.
  
  
• Violation of any of these terms may result in the permanent closure of your account/domain hosting privileges.
