Our ancestors immigrated to the USA primarily from England, Germany, Poland and France during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Our primary lines include the surnames of Bales/Beals, Barron, Barker, Borden, Caviness, Christy, Cioban, Covert, Hall, James, Oldaker, Osborne, Plowman, Turnbull, Woolley, and Yoder.

Genealogy involves working with historical data to develop relationships between individuals and family groups. Unfortunately, historical data is not always available because either the record no longer exists or the events were never recorded in the first place. In other cases, the surviving records are incomplete and/or inconclusive. This creates the need to make certain assumptions which may not always be correct. If any errors are detected, please let us know so that we can make the necessary corrections.
