William Limebeer

Grave No. 267

William Limebeer died March the 8th 1812, aged 39 years(?). Sarah Limebeer, of Cheapside, wife of the above, died 22nd July 1812 aged 50 years.

Mr Limebeer carried on business in Cheapside as a boot and shoe maker, he occupied a respectable position amongst the worshippers at the City Road Chapel. Their son Edward Limebeer married a daughter of Mr William Baynes, bookseller of Paternoster Row. He was the third manager of the City Branch of the Methodist Book Room, retiring about the year 1829 in favour of Mr Thomas Cordeaux.
